Timothy Williams Sr.
Growing up in a Christian home in Ferriday, Louisiana; Pastor Williams learned the value of the church at a young age with his mother and older brothers. Although he did not realize it at the time, a focus on solid Biblical preaching and faithfulness to God’s house were to have significant impact in his later ministry. He attended The American Baptist Community College of Lake Charles, Louisiana under the leadership of Pastor Martin Timothy Caesar and Baptist Minister Union. Pastor Williams and his wife Marjorie have been married for 49 years with four beautiful children, 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. His serving the Lord has been obvious as he has served in various capacities from deacon, Sunday school teacher, and Minister. He has sought to follow the Lord always asking “Lord, what will you have me to do?” This led him to pastor St. Luke Baptist Church in 2016, where, as pastor, he continues to seek God’s direction through Solid Bible preaching and fellowship. His life verse is John 3: 16 & 17,
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
